    <content type="html">Since this was requested, I thought I'd comply and give it a go here.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If anyone has any questions or requests just feel free to post them here. ^_^&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And now onto the tutorial!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So you want to go from &lt;a href="http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i202/maskedfury/tutorial/start.jpg"&gt;this plain old cap&lt;/a&gt; to this very &lt;a href="http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i202/maskedfury/tutorial/final.jpg"&gt;spiffy icon&lt;/a&gt;?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a name="cutid1"&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is going to run you five layers, not counting the background. It's going to set up &lt;a href="http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i202/maskedfury/tutorial/guideline.jpg"&gt;like this&lt;/a&gt;, incase the instructions below confuse some.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;First thing is first.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt; - Crop image&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br /&gt; - Duplicate image, once you've fitted it as you like into the icon space, and set the blending mode to &lt;i&gt;soft light&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;- Duplicate the image again, leaving the same blending mode setting, only this time go to &lt;i&gt;Image&amp;gt;Adjustiments&amp;gt;Desaturate&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;- Next, go to Layer and select &lt;i&gt;New adjustment Layer &amp;gt; Color Balance&lt;/i&gt;, with the following settings.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img src="http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i202/maskedfury/tutorial/cb.jpg"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;- Finally, go to Layer and select &lt;i&gt;New adjustment Layer &amp;gt; Selective Color&lt;/i&gt;, with the following settings.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img src="http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i202/maskedfury/tutorial/sc.jpg"&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Going back to the first layer and sharpening is optional.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The end result should be...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img src="http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i202/maskedfury/tutorial/final.jpg"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And there you have it.
